The French Doors

After Cheb and his dad had stripped the French doors, every time they were closed, putty would fall out, he went about the mundane task of glazing windows….what a nightmare. The putty is still drying, so I can’t even clean the smudgie windows or it’s 2nd coat of varnish.

The joys of being a home owner!

The house is a lot warmer now- no more open French doors.

What we got...

Here are some pics of the housie before we moved in, they were taken in one of our snoop sessions!

The brick bit is part of a kitchen extension that we are going to complete.

Like I have time for blog. Am laughing at myself- this is going to turn into a another one of my many blogs that I get bored with…and eventually forget.
But let’s try anyway.

The point- to document our housie (Graham- from now referred to as Skab/ Cheb/ BF and myself’s housie). I would put the address in, but given the amount of crazies in the world…I don’t think it wise. Might prove entertaining though…no.

Back to the context of the blog. Cheb and I bought a housie.Cheb and I are not married- it is more fun this way. She ( the housie) is in DIRE need of love and power tools, which we are going to be giving her.

She was bought on auction, from Bauction Balliance ( some names will be changed as to not put myself on a hit list of the many organizations that PISS me off tremendously and cause me to rant no end), and still not yet ours, the transfer has not gone through…but we have been staying here since 1 May 2009.

I thought that in 10 years time it would be fun to look back and see how the process went along, what we felt, how we went about things and how much we changed our minds from now to future then.

I WILL TRY..

my bestest to make regular posts with loads of pics and footnotes.
to explain all the strange words I use.
not to lose interest.
to keep you entertained and hopefully get you to laugh at our expense!
not to swear too much.
